Terra Mortis
I would be remiss in my duties to not mention this here. Dwayne and I have an e-book out. It is called Terra Mortis. It is an anthology of horror stories from my other blog Around the Campfire. Lots of zombie goodness to be had there. (Plus some other stuff.) Please think about purchasing it. Thanks! Also, if you do not want to put down $4.99 for this fine literary masterpiece, could you at least log into Amazon and give us a "Like". We sure would appreciate it.
EDIT: I thought I would add a few notes.
First, if it matters to you, it is DRM free. Thus, if you buy a copy, you can put it on multiple devices without restriction.
Second, the Amazon preview includes the entirety of The New Computer story and a couple of chapters of Terra Mortis. Those two stories will give you an indication of what is in store for you from this inexpensive book. At least check them out. Thanks!

Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room
Yo-Yo (aka Gregory Yoyonivich): This android robot was a police detective in the 1976 series Holmes & Yo-Yo. Like many comedies featuring our mechanical friends, no one was supposed to know the cop Yo-Yo (John Schuck) was a robot. His partner Detective Alexander Holmes (Richard B. Shull) had a tendency to get his partners hurt; thus, he finds out quickly when Yo-Yo is unhurt in one of their capers. Clearly, not much hilarity ensued on their capers because it only lasted 13 episodes.

William Shatner
In honor of William Shatner's new album (Seeking Major Tom) that just came out, I bring you one of his most memorable quotes. "The wonder computer of the 1980s. Under $300." That is compelling stuff!

Friday Iguana
These three fine specimens serve as a reminder to not get a pet you will not care for its entire life. These guys are part of an invasive species problem in Florida. Please, if you get a pet (any kind of pet), you must take care of him or her for the rest of its life. If you are not willing to do that, then do not get a pet.

KARR (aka Knight Automated Roving Robot): KARR is KITT's evil older brother. A concept later stolen by Star Trek: The Next Generation for Lore, Data's evil older brother. KARR like KITT is a black 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. However, KARR is not as philanthropic as KITT and has to be destroyed not once, but twice in the series.

According to this article from 1978(!) someone built a couple robots called Robbie and Gronk. That was 33 years ago. It makes me think robots could be more advanced than I thought. Prepare the robot-proof bunker!

Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room
KITT (aka Knight Industries Two Thousand): KITT appeared in the TV show Knight Rider from 1982-1986. This 1982 Pontiac Trans Am with a supercomputer may not strike you as a robot, but in the strictest sense KITT is a robot. Poor KITT suffered years of torment at the hands of his partner Michael Knight who weekly allowed some bad guys to use KITT for target practice and would further torture KITT with his taste in popular music.
