Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room

Rayna (aka Rayna Kapec, Reena, Rayna 18?): Rayna was the android from Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Requiem for Methuselah". She was created by a man named Flint who is about 6000 years old and had many identities through the ages such as: Leonardo da Vinci, Johannes Brahms, Solomon, Alexander the Great, Lazarus, Methuselah, Merlin, Reginald Pollack to name a few. Unfortunately, Rayna gets involved in a love triangle between Flint and Kirk. Her new found emotions are too much for her and seeing the two men she loves fighting causes her to "die". I guess Flint was never able to repair and reboot her and Spock had to use the Vulcan mind-meld to help Kirk get over the loss of the woman/robot he loved so much.

Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room

Byron (aka Byro): In the 1989 sci-fi movie Slipstream, the world has totally gone a type of Doomsday one would find reading an Incan prophecy. Two cops (one played by Mark Hamill) are on the trail of a robot that is wanted for murder. An independent bounty hunter played by Bill Paxton sees an opportunity for some quick cash by turning in said robot whom he mistakenly names Byron. Over the course of their adventure -- of running from the cops -- the bounty hunter and his robot companion become close friends. Byron learns such human emotions as friendship and love as well as hatred and revenge.

Post 1000!

Hey! This is post 1000. What a strange trip it has been. Who would have thought that posting rock band names could add up so quickly.

In this time we have had nearly 10,000 page views. The three people who regularly visit, sure rack up the page views. Thanks people!

The two most viewed posts were both "Friday Iguana" posts. Sadly, neither of them were Hank. One has had 111 page views and the other has 100. These are by far the most popular. Images bring in the views!

Coming in a distant 3rd (55 views) was a post from Dwayne's Robot Romper Room. It was Mr. R.I.N.G from Kolchak the night stalker.

Only 575 of the total posts have been Rock Band names, so I have done other stuff. 76 were Robot Romper Rooms. (Thanks Dwayne!) Lots of miscellany.

Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room

Galaxina: Galaxina was the robot in 1980's space adventure/comedy called Galaxina. The robot was played by 1980's Playmate of the Year Dororthy Stratten who was sadly murdered shortly after making this film. However, the cast also includes Avery Schreiber the bushy haired protagonist in those 70's Doritos ads. Galaxina is one of the crew members aboard a police starship and slowly programs herself to be more human so she can return the love she is given by Sgt. Thor (you know, as you do).
