Romie-O and Julie-8: The futuristic version of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (just in case you did not catch it). Created by Nelvana Limited and released on Canada's CBC in 1979, the two androids are the next evolution in robotics from rival robot manufacturers The Mega Stellar Company (Romie-O) and Super Solar Cybernectics (Julie-8). However, the creators are none too pleased to find out that their robots not only have feelings but feelings for each other. Ah, kids. Watchya gonna do?
