Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room

Geoff Peterson (aka Craig Ferguson's Robot Skeleton Army): Geoff is Craig Ferguson's sidekick on the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Sure to go down in history as one of the greats like Ed McMahon and Paul Shaffer. Geoff is also the first robot to be a regular on a late night program and sure is the funniest.

Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room

Diane (Fembot #11, Robot #11)  She is one of several creations of Dr. Goldfoot (played by Vincent Price).  He has hatched an nefarious scheme in which he will create a series of female robots (fembots or sexbots) to seduce and rob rich men.  How could this brilliant scheme fail?  You would have to watch Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine to find out.

Dwayne's Computers That Byte

WOPR: The NORAD supercomputer called WOPR (War Operation Plan Response) or Joshua to his friends (namely Stephen Falken it's creator) appears in 1983's War Games. Matthew Broderick wants to play a game called Global Thermonuclear War with the computer not knowing that NORAD plays with real nuclear weapons.

Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room

Sam the Robot (AKA Super Automatic Machine)  Sam appeared on the show Sesame Street.  He claimed to be infallible, but was always lost.  For instance, he claimed to be on Mulberry Street when he was on Sesame Street.  He said he could do anything, but would you trust a lost robot?

Dwayne's Computers That Byte

Proteus IV: Proteus can be found in 1977's Demon Seed. Proteus is a computer that simply wants to be a father. What better way than to hold hostage Dr. Alex Harris's (his creator) wife.  Thus, Susan Harris is held until she agrees to be his baby's mommy. There is nothing like a cyberlove-child.

H.E.L.P.eR (aka Humanoid Electric Lab Partner Robot): H.E.L.P.eR. is the robot created by Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. on the Cartoon Network show Venture Brothers created in 2003. H.E.L.P.eR. was originally built to watch over Dr. Jonas Venture's son Rusty. However, now that Rusty (aka Dr. Thaddeus S. Venture) is grown up H.E.L.P.eR. now helps Brock Samson with the task of watching over Hank and Dean, Rusty's sons. This is quite a handful.

Dwayne's Wednesday Robot Romper Room

Mechanical Monsters: Featured in the 1941 Superman short named "The Mechanical Monsters" where an evil scientist/inventor (of course) has unleashed his squad of jewel and bank robbing robots on Metropolis. I guess it takes a lot of money to run a robot building foundry.
