Nomad MK-15c:
Nomad is from the 1967 Star Trek
episode "The Changeling". In the future, 2002 to be exact, Jackson
Roykirk builds and launches the "perfect thinking machine" the
satellite Nomad into space. Along the way Nomad gets hit by a meteor and then
crashes into another satellite named Tan Ru that is from another planet. They
merge and combine their primary programs. Nomad's seeking out new life with
Tan-Ru's which was to obtain and sterilize soil samples from other planets into
the "find and sterilize imperfection". Thankfully, Kirk is able to
get Nomad stuck in a logic loop and has it beam out to deep space shortly
before he self-destructs.
