More on IBM's Watson

I updated this post on Watson's victory on Jeopardy with this item:

(Update 2/20/11: Ben Zimmer discusses this win at The Atlantic, and does a good job describing another reason I am not worried that it'll become a brain to takeover the world.  (via the Language Log))

However, a one-time Jeopardy champion LeeAundra Keany at the Discoblog is also underwelmed with the victory.  So, I am giving it a post of its own.

So the takeaway on that Watson computer -- punk!
